When: Start buying your raffle tickets today! We will raffle off the bracelet during our Trollbeads Trunk Show on Tuesday September 15th at 7 pm!
Where: Come in to Swagger Gifts at 2425 Kildaire Farm Road in Cary, NC or call us at 919-858-5884 if you are out of town. As this is a charitable donation, we can only except Cash or Check made out to the NBIA Disorders Association (please put Hayflick Lab Campaign in the memo area). You will get a receipt for your donation.
Why: To Help the NBIA Disorders Association reach their fundraising goal of $250,000 by the end of 2009!
The Fox Family has been shopping at Swagger for years. Wanda Fox has always had a big smile on her face and a great attitude towards life in general! Recently, Wanda told us that she has a medically fragile child at home and they need help to raise money for his disease. Wanda’s son, Kevin, has a rare, inherited, neurological movement disorder characterized by the progressive degeneration of the nervous system called NBIA (Neurodegeneration with Brain Iron Accumulation) Disorder. A few months ago, the Fox Family was told that one of the few labs that is dedicated to researching this disease is at risk of CLOSING, because funding from the National Institute of Health is at an all-time low! Once the doors close, their hope for a cure is gone! We want to do our part to help them keep the lap open so come in, buy a Trollbeads raffle ticket, and SHOP FOR THE CAUSE!
