Life Experiences is in the business of helping adults with disabilities help themselves.

Life Experiences was formed in an attempt to mesh social and business goals into one environment for adults with disabilities in Wake County. Incorporated in 1978, the non-profit organization offers a choice of satisfying work experiences for adults with varying disabilities and at the same time allows those adults the self-esteem of earning a wage for their work.

Life Experiences depends on the donations of businesses and individuals, like you. With your support, we will not only continue to assist area individuals who strongly desire to work in a program such as ours, but we will be able to expand our opportunity to more people. Thanks to the hard work and generous contributions of many people, we built a new facility in 2002. Our new building is twice the size of our old facility and has allowed us to add more business opportunities as well as serve more people with developmental disabilities.
