This year we are teaming up with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's School & Youth Programs for our Holiday Preview Night!  We could not have picked a more deserving charity and I look forward to all of us helping to find a cure for blood cancers!  When I met with Jenny Wayne and Lisa Wesson (both with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)), I was shocked to learn that leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young adults under the age of 20.  However, it was uplifting to hear that the relative five-year survival rate for patients with leukemia increased from 14 percent in 1960 to 51 percent in 2004!  I am excited that together we will be raising money to help find a cure!  So mark your calendars and come by Swagger to buy your tickets today!

The Details!

Who: You and all your friends! Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door the night of the event (However we are limiting the event to the first 75 people to buy tickets so get yours today by stopping by Swagger!)

What: Holiday Shopping Night at Swagger with 100% of the tickets sales and 10% of store sales going to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

When: Thursday November 6th from 6:30 pm til 9:30 pm

Why: To raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!  Also, if your child's school participates in the Pennies for Patients program a percentage of the money raised will go towards your child's school! (We are going to tally up all the schools and give credit to the schools based on perecentage of parent's from that school.  i.e. If 100 people come and 25 represent school X, 50 represent school Y, and 25 represent school Z the proceeds will benefit those school's pennies for patients programs in the amounts of 25%, 50%, and 25% respectively.)
