Swagger Gifts for Everyone On Your List!
Community Spotlight - Bocci Trattoria and Pizzeria
Bocci Trattoria & Pizzeria is now open here in Lochmere Pavilion!
They are occupying the former Blue Note & Oishee space which overlooks the Lochmere Golf Club. The owner, Bob Jewett, has gone to great lengths to redesign the space to reflect an Old World ambiance reminiscent of the many trattorias in Tuscany. The beautiful curved bar was left pretty much intact and they also enclosed the back room, which is now available for private dining and large parties of up to 50 people.
They are have a bold, large awning outside so once you're hear, you can't miss them. And coming this spring - outdoor dining!
To celebrate the opening, Bocci has unveiled an updated menu for both locations (they have been open in Durham near the Streets of Southpoint Mall for going on five years). Their menu is very broad and diverse with many favorites such as Pork Osso Buco, Tilapia Zafferano, Chicken Saltimbocca to name a few. They also have a few different styles of pizza including New York style, Chicago Deep Dish and their very own Nonna's Pizza. Bocci is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. Mandy adds, "The entire staff from Swagger had dinner last Monday Night and everyone's entrée was amazing! I think Bocci is just what Lochmere Pavilion needed - the perfect place to go with friends or family - any day of the week! We've also had their pizza - mmmmmm!"
